Latino Teen Pregnancy Prevention

Futuros Alcanzables:

Delaying parenthood to achieve the dream

What is Futuros Alcanzables?

Futuros Alcanzables is an initiative that aims to provide Latino service providers, families and youth with the tools, skills, and technical assistance needed to develop and implement effective teen pregnancy prevention and youth development strategies in the state of Georgia.

What are the goals of Futuros Alcanzables?

Through Futuros Alcanzables, G-CAPP will collaborate with organizations, communities and systems to increase their capacity to develop and sustain effective strategies to eliminate Latino Teen Pregnancy in Georgia and help our youth achieve a brighter future.

Part of our strategy includes providing parents and community leaders the information and skills they need to communicate more effectively with teens about responsible sexual behavior.

Ultimately, our goal is to have every Latino adolescent engaged in a research proven program in their community, regardless of their access point (school, after school program, faith organization, etc.)

Where will trainings be offered? Does G-CAPP offer onsite trainings?

Our trainings, programs, and networking opportunities (available in English and Spanish) are facilitated in the metro Atlanta area, local communities throughout Georgia, and at the Jane Fonda Center at Emory University. Please contact the Training Department to determine if we are able to assist you onsite.
