A COMMUNITY CONVERSATION to improve the health & social well-being of youth.
The City of Savannah/Office of the Mayor and the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential invite you to an important event around the health and wellness of youth in Savannah. Adolescence is often tough for young people under the best of circumstances and our youth deserve the best we have to offer, especially in these tumultuous times. REGISTER BELOW.
Date: Wednesday, August 17
Time: 9:30am – 12:00pm (breakfast will be served)
Location: Savannah Civic Center, 3rd Floor Ballroom, 301 West Oglethorpe Ave.
All are invited to take part in this Community Conversation—community leaders, youth-serving professionals and community organizations, health professionals, parents, advocates, and anyone interested in improving the well-being of our young people.
GCAPP, with programs in youth empowerment, comprehensive sex ed, teen pregnancy prevention, parent engagement, and physical activity & nutrition, has convened Community Conversations in communities throughout the state around adolescent health and social wellness over the last four years, and partners with communities to implement proven, sustainable programs and strategies that address adolescents’ overall well-being.
