Community leaders in Crisp County and the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential invite you to participate in a Community Conversation around the health and wellness of youth in Crisp County. Adolescence is often tough for young people under the best of circumstances and our youth deserve the best we have to offer, especially in these difficult times.
Date: Friday, November 4
Time: 10:00-12:00 (BRUNCH will be served)
Location: James R. Dowdy Bldg., 1129 N 5th St. Ext., Cordele, GA 31035
All are invited to take part in this Community Conversation—community leaders, youth-serving professionals and community organizations, health professionals, parents, advocates, and anyone interested in improving the well-being of our young people. GCAPP, with programs in youth empowerment, comprehensive sex ed, teen pregnancy prevention, parent engagement, and physical activity & nutrition, has convened Community Conversations in communities throughout the state around adolescent health and social wellness over the last four years, and partners with communities to implement proven, sustainable programs and strategies that address adolescents’ overall well-being.
