Welcome to IN·clued, a pioneering sexual and reproductive health education program. Unlike generic state-mandated sex ed, IN·clued is tailored exclusively for all youth, centering everyone’s unique experiences. We create a safe space with a trauma-informed approach, acknowledging and respecting individual needs. Our program is adaptable, ensuring relevance and accuracy for each participant group. 1. What is it?
IN·clued is a specially crafted 3-hour comprehensive sex education workshop designed exclusively for underrepresented youth (LGBTQ+, youth of color, rural youth, etc.). Tailored for youth, this workshop equips participants with crucial information, valuable resources, and essential tools for protecting themselves against STIs and unintended pregnancies.
3. What will change?
Twelve months after the program, compared to the control group, IN·clued participants demonstrated significantly…
- Lower likelihood of having recent vaginal sex without condoms
- Greater self-efficacy to advocate for one’s own sexual health needs
- Greater likelihood of having been to a doctor or clinic for (and received) contraception or birth control
- Greater knowledge of sexual health
2. How does it work?
Through dynamic activities rooted in strengths-based, trauma-informed approaches, IN·clued ensures a safe space for exploration. Positive depictions, an optional peer education component, and evidence-based content amplify the impact.
Rigorously evaluated, IN·clued guarantees positive sexual health outcomes, making it a vital experience for older teens seeking empowerment and understanding.
