Super Saturday – Macon Bibb!

  • 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • The Administration Building at Lundy Chapel

Saturday, May 14

A FREE youth empowerment program about making good choices. Each participant gets a $200 stipend at the end of the day for completing the Super Saturday workshops.

Teens will receive breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and breaks throughout the day. Open to teens (13-19) who live in Bibb County. Parents are welcome to sit in. Giveaways/Raffles include: door prizes, Six Flags vouchers, Air Pods, and gift certificates. Teens under 18 will need parental permission to attend.

The Administration Building on the Lundy Chapel campus  |   9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 2081 Forest Hill Road, Macon, GA 31210

Bibb County has one of the highest STD rates in the state for teens and most are unaware of the potential consequences. Many parents feel unprepared to discuss sex-related topics with their teens. Super Saturday will empower both girls and boys to: protect themselves against STDs, avoid becoming teen parents before they become high school graduates, and think through decisions that often put their health and personal goals at risk. Super Saturday participants can expect workshops about protection, vulnerable situations teens may find themselves in, confidence, good decision making, negotiation and refusal skills, and more.
