Because of the pandemic, teen wellness checks have declined significantly. GCAPP is proud to join forces with the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) to raise awareness about the importance of wellness visits for teens in Georgia and across the U.S. The #Wellness2Us Teen Wellness Campaign highlights what wellness means to teens in their own words and connects their understanding of how wellness contributes to their overall health. Our youth ambassadors, recorded short videos responding to the simple question: What does wellness mean to you?
Social media plays a crucial role in raising awareness. Please share with your community on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and other social channels to help promote healthy behavior. Be sure to include the hashtags, #Wellness2Me and #Wellness2Us
